New X7 Individual trims, full interior leathers, coming 08/19 (MY2020)

Moving this to a dedicated thread. Lookie at this article that I found, when doing a search for "BMW Dolomiti". Great pics of upcoming X7 interiors. And notice some new trims in there, including a herringbone hatched black wood with aluminum inserts. (I kinda like it. It's very different)

https://www.bmw-m.com/en/topics/maga...he-bmw-x7.html

That Amarone/Black (2nd to last seat pic below, mahogany reddish brown leather) is pretty kick ass. Looks kind of like Cordovan leather to me. Very classy.

See the full article for leather and trim names.

I think you're right. The same trim was found in a spy shot of a prototype M50i X5

I'm not sure on the Amarone full leather. I'd have to see what it looks like in the full cockpit. What I've seen of mohogany leather interiors, they look great when the car is new, but don't seem to age well, and they look dated as the leather get older.

One thing I'm noticing though, the Amarone full leather is a two-tone leather, like the ivory and blue. Looks like the outside portions of the seats, and other accents, are black. Could be interesting.

Beefcake found this video. Starting at 2:24 shows the new Amarone burgundy and black two-tone seating about to be released on the X5 and X7. Also shows the new crosshatch black trim with aluminum inserts. Generally, I like it.

I was told no individual paints available on NA cars produced in NA.

Not feeling that two tone, dunno why it makes the interior look cheap, maybe it’s the lighting.

Yeah, I can see it from that perspective too. Would like to see more pics, and of course see it in person.

Thank you. It looks 10x better in those pics versus on the X7 online configurator.

I was worried about how it looked on the BMW build your own website,so i went with the individual piano black trim with the full merino Ivory White/Bight Blue leather interior.I also wanted a more sporty look and i think the piano black trim looks good with the exterior black high gloss shadowline trim on the M Sport.

drove one of our x7s yesterday when I was at the store which had this color interior, it looked amazing! I think it could be my new favorite interior color so far.

side note, this was the first time I have been to the store in a few months and also the first time I had seen the x7 in person (the final production model, saw the test mule when it came into the store) and I was really impressed, turned out great, would love to see one all blacked out, prob would look pretty slick

The herringbone dash looks like the aluminum deck plating on the last ferry I rode. Might be different in the flesh.

Amarone while gorgeous, if not well taken care of it looks horrible when worn out. Does not age well.
