My center speaker has no light. Also, I lied: The tweeters are white. I would swear this was not the case when new but I've just checked it and that is the case.

I have mine on the dimmed setting at night so they're hardly noticeable, but still; I apologize for posting what was incorrect information.

Also, now I'm POed!

I just received this week both a JD power survey on the x6m as well as an email from BMWNA on feedback on the car. I’ll be sure to incorporate everyone’s feedback here on both of those surveys so that the message to BMW is as clear as I can make it.

Center speaker has no light but the other speakers can be set to match the ambient light color , it does not have to be white

Mine does not change. I tried; it remains white no matter what color I use, and there is no setting specific to the speakers that I could find in the ambient menu that might be restricting it.

I was wondering if this happened at the last update?

Speaker color is a confusing setting. there's a check box in the ambient light menu that if checked makes it seem like you're setting to color, but it actually forces them to white, so leave unchecked. I think it's called "ambient lighting effects" that needs to be unchecked.

Yep, turns out I needed to make sure the speaker option is turned off in the dynamic lighting menu… Otherwise it will default to White.

If it’s turned off, it follows the same ambient lighting in the main menu.
