Wrong Car Pictured in Parking Assistant After 03/2023.30 on pre-LCI

Hello. I have a pre-LCI (2021) X7 40i, and recently went in for the annual service. The techs did a software upgrade, and now the parking screen shows an old 7-series sedan rather than my x7. The rest of the screens show my x7 (and in the right color), so I don't think the accidentally loaded a 7 series image on my car.

Anyone else have this happen? I suppose the fix is to take it back to the dealer to reflash the software again?

they didnt run diagnostics after the upgrade like they are supposed to.
i had this happen on my X3- they need to hook up the diagnostic head and run a test, the issue will pop up and they can fix it with a few clicks.
they didnt set the correct model in the HU.
i was able to fix it without a dealer visit by running ISTA on my laptop and going through the tests and executing what got flagged up.

its annoying because they are supposed to do that after updating sw but looks like some service depts skip it.

Did you try a OS system restart ?

its not a restart, dealer didnt properly finish off the software update.
GXX series defaults to a 7 series if ta dealer does an update and doesnt scan the car at the end.

Dealing with the same issue. Anyone figure this out?

If you have ISTA or esys you can try fixing it yourself.
