New video - Onboard F80 M3 endurance testing on the Ring
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com Nice onboard engine sound The info on the m-Power.com website explains that DSC was switched off and that this was an inside look into the development process two years ago. Also some great pictures and test info on the the BMW M-Power site: http://www.m-power.com/_open/b/close...lang=en&x=3103 Last edited by Boss330; 01-24-2014 at 12:28 PM.. |

But, you can still see a few places where the rear end breaks loose and tire squeals under braking |

Yep, sounds much better than the previous videos I have heard.
Sure hope its not from the speakers. Just playing.

It probably is partially from the speakers, unless it was too early in development for them to have that feature enabled. This would also explain why it sounds good inside the car but no so much from outside.

Definitely sounds better than other vids. I like how smooth it is. But man does it sound just like another bmw 6, nothing too special.

Right? Also would there even be active sound two years ago on a test mule? Just trying to be optimistic. Also there been no official way to cut off the sound without cutting the rest of the audio correct?
