This has been discussed elsewhere in this forum, but more in advance of ownership than based on experience. With quite a few owners aboard now, it will be good to hear the real world experiences

Given that the rear seats have the child restraint anchors and there is a lot more room over the previous model, it should be fairly easy and accessable

Twisterland posted a couple of great photos in his thread of various child seats and booster seats in different combinations and positions: http://f48.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1199687
All front facing seats unfortunately. But maybe he's got an old rearward facing seat and can test it for you. Drop him a PM. |

I think there's plenty of room with all the car seats I've had experience with, but it seems there may be some wider, rearward facing seats in other markets, that must be fitted to the centre position. I dare say this may mean it's hard to fit another car seat in one of the outboard positions. If this is your case, my best advice is to take your seats to a dealer and test fit them as part of the test drive.
