Here we go again..
Actually Max Verstappen is Belgian .

His ID (passport) is Belgian .
His driver license is Belgian and got it in Belgium.
He is born in Hasselt (Belgium)
His parental house is in Maaseik (Belgium)

Only his F1 racing license is Dutch , and that's why he drives under the Dutch flag in F1.
Here is more => https://www.demorgen.be/sport/max-ve...belg-bb07b664/
I think that only matters to die hard Max fans. Most others see the flag against his name and convince themselves of his origins.

In any case, as long as it brings more fans to F1, I'm happy.

Too bad so many people want to keep b*tching about how glorious old cars sounded compared to cars today when their primary ride has a turbo in it and they don't once complain about not having a V8/V12. Ok rant over.

But... we are actually what our ID (passport) shows , my ID shows Belgian . Same thing for Max .
Nevermind my friend , we can better hope that his Red-Bull Renault finally runs better and that he can show us his driver skills again !

Cheers for Max !

I agree , but also not. And here is why ...
You watched last year (2016) the race in Brazil (Interlagos) in the rain ?

Suddenly after the race in Brazil *THE ENTIRE WORLD* was talking from the youngest driver ever in F1 history who won already the F1 race in Spain , he was only 17 and still without his driver license...

The name from the kid was/is Max-Verstappen , and no one ever saw in F1 driver skills like this in the rain !
Of course respect for Senna here , and even Senna said...It's in the rain where the real driver skills shine , and I agree with that !
And that's why we/I hope for rain in Spa-Francorchamps for Max the rain man
Like I already said , I believe in nothing but please God give Max a better car !

The year 2016 Interlagos , Max in the rain...

Gotta give it to him, that was an amazing drive. But in all fairness, there are a lot of good rain drivers but they don't always have the best chassis.

I know what you mean . Ricciardo had the same Red-Bull car in Brazil , but where was he in the rain ?

On the other hand...There are also drivers with lack of HP and topspeed nonetheless they show up on the podium .

Doesn't Belgium have lower taxes than Netherlands?

My friend , all I know is the Belgian taxes are insane !

But I know by some Belgian people , they go shopping in the Netherlands because it's cheaper .
I know also that Germany is 30-40 % cheaper for the same product than Belgium..

In short....Belgium really s@cks my friend

Taxes are crazy high, both in NL and in B.

Difference is, in NL for the most part they do useful things with that tax money, like great road maintenance, efficient logistics, clean cities and no Molenbeek type of shitholes.

Tbh, food is way better in B and their soccer team is ace.
Also, cars are much cheaper than in NL.

IF you think Germany is cheaper, you should try US. I thought Germany was little expensive. However, some necessities were actually cheaper in Germany than US. Those items were over-the-counter medication, tooth paste, tooth brush, soap etc.

Hey, it is very difficult for few, but I do own 4 items which is made in Belgium.

Speaking of soccer, World cup is coming soon. I think NL had a great run on last World Cup.

Sure. But he's only 19 years old.
Aged 17 years, 166 days, he became the youngest driver to compete in Formula 1.
He is also the youngest driver to lead a lap during a Formula One Grand Prix, youngest driver to set the fastest lap during a Formula One Grand Prix, youngest driver to score points, youngest driver to secure a podium and youngest Formula One Grand Prix winner in history. (Wikipedia)

As an Aussie, I love Ricciardo. His success is because he can drive well, and is always there to capitalise on others misfortunes.
But if Max had a reliable car, Dan wouldn't see which way he went.

I think of Max as having the luck Mark Webber did when with Seb. Just seemed to have a jinxed chassis.
