X7 M50i with 22" 755M in Bi-Color Black NOT Cerium Grey?
I am ordering an X7 M50i with Extended Shadowline Trim but my only 22" wheel options are 758i Orbit Grey or 755M Cerium Grey. I really want the 755M Bi Color Black since it will pair better with the black trim.
You can spec the xDrive40i with the 755M Bi Color Black but NOT the M50i. Is there any way at all to order the 755M Bi Color Black on the X7 M50i? |

Since you are building/ordering a vehicle, you can try the BMW special order request process. Unfortunately, there are no guarantees as BMW can be pretty picky about what they will authorize, even though something like a wheel change, using a wheel that should have plenty of inventory, should be a no-brainer.
Talk to your CA for more details about this process. But don't be surprised if your CA gives you a "blank stare" so you may need to talk to a sales manager.

Ha, ha, good luck .... Getting those wheels you want may literally take an act of congress. But getting an individual paint color, while it can be ridiculously expensive (like a $5k upcharge or more), is usually pretty easy to do.

That could be an option in the future when more BMW Individual SABI paints become available this fall in Spartanburg, leading to 490 Manufaktur paint offerings for X models in 2021.

That would be amazing. I'd be very happy with a true Individual paint on a 2021, if possible. $5k is a tough pill to swallow though! |

That's the wheel I wanted also but whateverrrrr BMW ...offering shadowline with no black rim is silly.
In the end I went with the 21" with all season on my M50i build because by the time this car arrives we'll be heading into fall/winter. I also picked up a set of 785M wheels for next spring...problem solved |

Not really I just wanted it the way I wanted it without modding it. I drove both and the V6 was fine. I’ll likely give it a shot next time or do the X5M but I’m hearing they ride pretty rough.

I know what you mean though. I can't help doing little mods here and there w my cars but yeah wheels aren't exactly inexpensive. Just boggles me how BMW can make a nice wheel like the 755M, offer it in cerium grey and bi-color black, but not extend both color options to their higher end model which comes in different exterior trims. Cerium grey is nice and super classy but it's just not for me. I'm opting with Shadowline trim on any color combo I decide on and just wish I could have the 755M in bi-color black. In all likelihood I'll prob just end up w the 758i on the X7 but damn those 755M are just perfect on this car and should be on the M50i model. I would totally have gotten an X5M at basically the same price as this loaded up X7 M50i but I think I'll need the space w 3 kids. |

Faced the same dilemma. I'm more than pleased though with the 758i Individual option since it's still significantly darker than the Cerium.

Nope ... don't do it. I had the same idea in my head and then went with the M50i. Had a X5 loaner the other day ... no comparison to the X7 in terms of interior space. Not apples to apples on the performance side, but the M50i is a beast as well.
