I might add captions to help explain things a little better later on.

My eyes are spinning! Amazingly configurable. I can see that I will be spending some deal of time setting up everything the way I want it. Thanks Paul for what would have been a monumental effort to post ;-)

eh, idrive and the oem navi is nice and all, but for that too grand, i'd rather spend it on this

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...highlight=asus

It's got a lot more features and an 80gb hd.

Personally I prefer to have OME equipment. It just looks a lot more integrated and less 'after market'. That Asus unit looks fancy but it also looks like a big zit on an otherwise neat dash, obscuring the AC vents and some buttons. Not for me thanks.

I have to agree.

In my opinion, I think that thing looks ridiculous! I'll take quality over quantity any day (same goes for houses, holidays, etc, etc...). To quote someone sensible: "Less is more" - van der Rohe.

This thread was just about the facts on the Business v Professional Navigation options, nothing more.

Cheers,

Paul

sorry to revive this thread,

but can someone tell me for the US customers, how the F#$&* do we order the Professional version vs the Business version?

I've searched all over the Bmwusa website, and looked at my order, and cannot tell where it says Business or Professional
