I like the interior of X7 a lot, however GLS which is into its 6th or 7th year now looks much handsome exterior wise.

The interior is stunning. Cant wait to see one at the dealer.
Really like the two tone blue leather.

perhaps, but i'll tell you that my 18 550 interior feels like a Yukon now after having spent time in my wife's 19 X5. massive leap one interior vs the other

Totally. The new BMW interiors (including X3, etc) took a massive leap forward. These Gxx models are league leaders - I think more luxurious than comparable Mercedes, and light years ahead of the new Audis. We're upsizing from our F15 next year and somehow I'm actually excited about a seven passenger SUV.

I went to the automotive show today and saw this in person. It's massive. They kept it locked though. No getting inside. The X5 was there as was the X3. Nice vehicles. Massive grill on the x7

My issue with GLS is that it really drives like a boat. Very comfortable but absolutely not a car that can be driven aggressively. I hope x7 will have much better driving dynamics given the BMW heritage but the extra weight will certainly make it challenging.
