Just curious as to who ordered their XM base or Label, versus who bought them off the lot.

I’ll go first, I ordered my XM base.

Label, ordered, But in hindsight, should’ve waited to pick one up off the lot with a better deal….

Off the lot, they kept emailing me for 2 months until I came in. Base.

I worked with the sales manager to find a Label "on the lot" at a dealership with the spec I wanted, then it was trucked up to my local dealership.

So.... "both"?

Off the lot but I wouldn’t have spec’d mine any different compared to what I ended up getting. I’m a big fan of lighter interiors and I don’t understand why the Label only comes with the two tone interior.

Ordered but then didn’t take delivery, let it sit on the lot a few months and then got a great deal…

I am the biggest sucker.
Just visited the dealership to burn time while waiting for wife getting some beauty treatment nearby.
Test drove one on the lot, saw the only Marina Bay Blue in the showroom.
10 days later after some haggling, got it delivered to my office.

Your comment made me curious, so I did a google search. It looks like both your kidneys together sold on the black market STILL won't get you that GT3RS

Order but then didn’t take delivery when it seemed like BMW dropped to many at once. Then bought the same one I originally ordered 3 months later for a nice discount

If you were to ask me this question about any other BMW I would've said ordered because you can configurate it exactly how you want it.

But since the XM comes stock with absolutely everything BMW has to offer, you just get to select 3 interior colors, a few outside colors and 2 rims options, buying off the lot not only saves you money in most cases, but also a lot of time.

You just need to find the right color for you and buy it off the lot
