Is the M Performance BBK the best upgrade option without spending major $$$$$

I've spend more hours than I care to admit researching the options for upgrading the brakes on my 328i M Sport 6MT. It does NOT have the optional M Sport or M Performance brakes, it has the single piston gray calipers with the 330mm (I think??) front rotors. Initially I thought about just changing the rotors and pads to something with more bite and stopping power as I do take my car to track weekends at VIR maybe 4 weekends a year. The main issue I seem to be running into is that the offerings for the 330mm rotors are few and far between in the aftermarket. Ideally I would prefer slotted rotors but am not a fan of drilled and slotted rotors due to their potential to crack and fracture with extreme use.

I discovered the M Performance BBK (380mm fronts I believe) with the upgraded Brembo pistons. For around $2500 this seems to be a pretty well rounded kit. Is this kit the end all be all for a daily driver that seems 6-8 track days a year?
