Video: Official BMW X7 TV Commercial
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com Interestingly, similar to the 8 Series TV Commercial, BMW's full name "Bayerische Motoren Werke" is completely spelled out at the last few seconds where "Sheer Driving Pleasure" or "Ultimate Driving Machine" would’ve been. This follows previous discussion that higher end "elite" models would receive this treatment although it does seem that the BMW roundel's colors have survived (i.e., not black & white). Quote:

Missed opportunity
Would have been great for BMW to show the X7's off road ability by letting us see how they drove it off the train, off the train tracks and then over those 13 foot hills separating the tracks from the road

I will take the design pure excellence model used in the commercial any day over M Sport. Cleaner, more luxurious with no gimmicks. There is a reason why BMW is using it not only for this commercial but all ads and shows. If I want something sporty I will buy a real sports car, not a full size SUV, just my opinion. The good news though is that both options are available for us to choose from.

I guess the train stopped after 30 minutes according to the conductor, then they disconnected the last train cart and drove the car down using ramps.
In any case, this ad sucked. No way the X7 is more comfortable than train in this case, if they're going parallel. You can eat, walk around and sleep in a nice train. A better ad would've been if they jumped/ drove off the moving train then took the scenic off road route up the mountains
