Between seat storage?

I'm used to having a
an open compartment between the arm rest and shifter. Spare change, cigarettes and lighter, cell phone and small items that I need to grab right away.

The X7 doesn't have one of these. It even seems strange that if you wanted to get to your phone while it is on the charger you'd have to move your drink out of the cup holders.

Has anyone tried those between seat storage things yet? Do they work ok or slide out of place whenever the seat moves? Do they take up leg room?

I'm talking about these:

That looks nice as long as it works for X7.

I was also looking at this one since I do have M Sport package.

I went with this one. Don't need the cup holder part and it may stick out to much. I have the brown interior.

I've been looking at these things as well. Unfortunately, I think they will interfere with my seating position. I don't like having anything resting on the seat and it looks like these things are going to partially cover up the bottom cushion side bolsters.

I was looking at this one.

I'm not sticking/gluing anything to the center console for sure. I think all of them will interfere in some way or another.

I would like to find something that catches all that crap that falls between the seats and the console though. I haven't started searching for those yet though.

I bought the storage ones so I can keep some things at my fingertips. But to be honest... I still am waiting on my build. They say it will be 4-6 weeks and this is week one

Agony! Thanks for the Amazon suggestion. I've added those to my Amazon wish list, along with the center console tray someone else suggested a while ago. All pending my upcoming X7 order!

Can you send a link to the center console tray you mention, please.

Was discussed a while back. Made for the G05, but fits the G07 too.

OMG! Thank you. I was wondering how I was going to organize one single deep box.

I don't think the Germans realize just how we Americans use/abuse our cars. I know a guy who works at Porsche corporate. He says they are always asking for things we take for granted like decent cup holders and sun glass storage. More cubicles please, but they feel that a car is made to drive and not sip coffee in...

Did you find any other cool stuff I would need on Amazon or elsewhere? I already ordered the tray and I don't even have the car yet! lol

Thanks again!
