I'll be there on the 20th and 21st. Hoping the crowds will be lighter during the week. I can't wait to see the M3/M4, Z06/Z07, and hopefully something about the Shelby GT350.

Do they plan to announce US base MSRP and release date during Detroit Auto Show?

My guess is that we will know either on day of event or just before. Bring on the configurator!

Scott can you confirm that the cars will be in attendance at the Philadelphia Auto Show in Feb? Please please say yes

I'm trying to determine if it is worth it for me to travel from Austin, TX to attend.

Thanks!
I'm traveling from EU to attend it

I have my trip to Detroit booked and now, I am literally dreaming about it every night. Is that weird?

I am sorry I do not what that that is.
If it is regional show then it will be up to BMW North America...
If it is dealer only? Then I would probably say no.

The Philadelphia international auto show is recognized as one of the largest auto shows in the country with every global car marker in attendance showing new models as well as custom and classic cars. BMW normally has always had a major display here of at least 8-10 cars (See Phillyautoshow.com) the M cars have always been there before and this is not just a dealer event. I believe the car count is usually around 600+ models for show. Anyway glad to let you know and hopefully the F8x models will be there. Thanks

I went two years for the new F30 unveiling. I grew and lived in the Detroit area until 1989, so I stayed with my sister, who still lives in the 'burbs. In hindsight, I don't know how I didn't factor this into my planning when I went but I went on Martin Luther King Holiday. Every school in Detroit is closed for the holiday and there was a massive crowd of parents with their children. This year it's 1/20/14.

I would go any other weekday except on 1/20/14 if you want to avoid massive crowds and kids.
