Have been shopping a while for 21" Alpina Wheels for my G12 and a decent set will set you back a LOT.

Here is a set of 23" for a G07...(eBay link) - not square either. You'll have to buy two pair of fronts (or rears) or go knock-offs

Here is a set of 21" for a G11/G12 brand new.....(eBay link) - not a square setup

Here is a set of 21" for a G11/G12 that is square....(eBay link)

Plenty of knock-offs for less coin, but a quick Google search should turn up plenty of results if this is your preferred route.

This site is the best I’ve found so far. Had to replace one of my 23”s when an idiot at a tire shop gouged the piss out of it.

Thanks M_Bimmer
I actually have already been messaging with someone at “Blackbird” from your 23” ebay link.
How long have you been searching?

My current set of 21" Alpina wheels have seen too many potholes, and while they hold air, they are bent, and require a LOT of weights. Since the vehicle is only driven 3 miles (take the kid to school = school bus limo)...it's not been a pressing matter.

The hard part about this, isn't the cost per se, it's buying new ones, and having the unpredictability of the wheels getting bent again....or buying "used" ones that look OK, only to find out they too are tweaked.

The pain of having 21" wheels (on the G12) and 23" wheels (on the G07).

These are decent prices (with a 2 year warranty), but I'm surprised about the tires being used on their Alpina 21" wheel + tire package....The Alpina G11/G12 specify a certain tire, and Pirelli Run-Flats aren't correct (less about the brand, and more about the Run-Flats).

I'd never run Run-Flats on a 21" wheel or a 23" as the sidewalls are way less forgiving, and only increase the occurrence of bent rims.

Our roads are so bad, that G30's bent their rims too....worse than potholes, man-holes are never flush with the road here in SoCal, but when they are an inch above the road, and are hit at speeds greater than 25MPH, you'll blow your tire and bend the rim.....Our local tax dollars pay for pensions, not proper roads.

What I appreciate is that they are handling all tax + customs BS. That service alone is worth a look.

I’m fairly sure that they will let you buy any tire you’d want. In some cases it may much better to source the tires locally though.

Somewhat surprised to hear that even the 21” CS6s are prone to bending… I live in Pothole Crater City (CHI) and have managed to keep my 23s straight.

I guess it really depends on what tire you’re wrapping them in too. I have a love/hate relationship with Pirelli, but they do engineer their tires to protect the rim against impact damage in my experience. (Scorpion & P-Zero)

On the site it says
“Alpina require evidence of XB7 ownership to supply these”
Not sure how strict that is but I def don’t have proof of ownership.

This is definitely a thing. Alpina as a manufacturer has never wanted 40i X5s rolling around on their wheels I guess.

Send me a PM.

Thanks again for your help.
I found a set for sale on this site and they had tires and TPMS.
I’m not a patient person, but it paid off this time!
Mounted yesterday and hopefully can wash X5 today depending on rain!

PJ///M, do you mind taking a closer shot of one of your Alpina wheels, and posting?

That color looks very "silver" and I've not seen any XB7 wheels in "silver" color, let a lone ones that almost look "chrome".

I'd LOVE to have that color my self.

Below is the typical gray color I've seen so far and it clashes with the "chrome" trim on the rest of the vehicle. Been contemplating a repaint to hyper-silver, or chrome plating for my wheels on my G07.

Your wheels look Great!

Thanks! And here are a few pics.
Honestly I think my playing around with the filters threw off their classic look.
Hopefully this gives a better representation.

In my search I actually found another seller with an identical set of wheels and tires in great condition, if anyone needs.
