Is it correct to say that it's only happening when the auto start/stop has the car off, or immediately after it starts back up? Does it also only happen in navigation (the sequence appears like it's just Nav restarting and not iDrive itself)?
I watched the video a few times and these seem to be the case anyway. If so, I'm guessing some sort of short, maybe to the GPS antenna if my second assumption is correct, that is just getting amplified by the car stopping and starting so the system senses the voltage drop and shuts off. If my second assumption is incorrect, then it might just be a short in the connection to that screen, if my first assumption is incorrect, and it will continue to restart while keeping a fairly constant load, then it would likely be a graphics chip overheating or something along those lines. Regardless, sincerely wish you luck it getting this taken care of efficiently. My experience with BMW service, which I'm sure is true for any new car service department dealing with warranty work, is that they wouldn't bother tracing down a short and instead just start replacing things. Granted, they could find a loose connection, re-seat a harness and see it go away, etc., and it really might be that simple, but if not they could go down a rabbit hole of replacing parts and leaving you without your car for an extended period.

I guess he is not a video gamer from the mid/late '80's to early '90's to get that reference. You are dating yourself a bit (but then I guess so am I)....
But for the OP, in most cases with glitches like this, a dealer software update will usually fix the problem. After that, as another member posted, the dealer will most likely start replacing modules.....
