Cargo Covers
Just had my 2019 X7 delivered and it has 1 cargo cover that just covers behind the 3rd row.
Everything I've read says it should come with 2 (1 behind the 2nd row, 1 behind the 3rd row). Is that correct and if so, is it standard? The dealer is telling me it only comes with the 1 (behind 3rd row). Can anyone confirm? Note, I'm in Canada. Thanks!!! |

My 19 has both, the second was in the area under the floor in the trunk. It's not easy to get out, but there is a space to store them in there. My third row is down 98% of the time so I only use the larger cover.
I should mention that I don't have the spare tire, so I don't know if it is different if you have the spare tire. |

If you look up your VIN on the decoder posted above you will see all the options listed for your specific vehicle.

In Europe you need to have the Lugagge compartment package in order to receive the second cargo cover.I also thought this is standard so did not take the package.Stupid thing is that the package cost was only 170 Euro but now if I want to order only the second cargo cover it cost 500 Euro.

I have a related question
When does the small cover come in alcantara ? I have the roof in alcantara but not the small cover.

I have alcantara headlining but not on the small cargo cover ..... I think the cargo cover with handle is the larger one.

I was inclined to believe that only full leather will get the alcantara small cover, thou it doesn't make sense at all as this is a continuation of the roof liner design. My other theory was that this is specific to the navy blue / white interior. I'm waiting for others to chime in and see.

It's somehow a strap/ belt running under the X7 plastic piece where the holding pins are. See the attached image
