Rear Seat Entertainment cracked

Fellas
My RSE screen cracked from from passenger backing up too far too the car seat. I found some parts but don’t know how convoluted the install will be for this.
Should I leave this to dealership or try to do it myself?
Thanks in advance

Dealership would be a total rip off on pricing I assume, unless you could convince them to cover it under warranty somehow.

The part number for the screen is 65508736696, used replacements look to be going for under $400 on eBay. The linked post is actually incorrect, those 3 star screws hold the bracket on to the seat. The bigger, round-headed star screws (4 total) are the ones to remove in order to remove the monitor.

Super easy to remove the screen. A new one should be plug and play.

Both screen protectors in this post would be worth looking at: https://g07.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...5&postcount=10
