iDrive Screen Cleaning
This touchscreen is a bloody bad idea, it looks awful!
What are people using to clean the display? Cheers.

I think BMW should have stuck to their guns and not bothered putting pointless touch screen on their iDrive. Having the wheel is infinitely better.

Just a clean microfibre cloth with some non-acidic sunglasses spray (courtesy of a sunglasses shop with free refills or life!). |

Once clean, erase the feature from your mind .... I'd forgotten it existed on mine!

Thanks everyone, I’m giving the car it’s first clean Friday and the marks are horrible on the screen.
Everyone is banned from using it now, if they ask if it’s touchscreen the answer is no

I was thinking hey, touchscreen would be nice.
But it's a bit far away to use comfortably. And a passenger has the time to use the slower but still great hand controller. |
