I recently ordered a 2021 M50i with Tartufo and had the same doubts before I saw it in person. It really doesn't photograph well at all. If at all possible, try to find a reasonably local dealer to see it in person. It almost always looks orange in pictures - it's a nice brown in real life.

Yes, I forgot the 2nd row pic was taken in garage with ultra bright LEDs on. The most natural looking is actually the one of the dash, even though not much of the surface is visible, the color looks much more like it feels in real life, more toned down than in most pictures.

looks great, I think you're right, it looks more like the brown, good choice with the trim too. I think it's a winner

What did you do exactly with the exhaust? Did you install new tips to make them come out further?

I think this color is ever changing in the light which makes it so breathtaking in real life. I try to describe it to those that haven’t seen it in real life like a Coach brown/football colors.

I hear you. I saw that color wanted it so much on a 2020 bench, couldn't get it moved on with brown.

By the way that photo looks more to the brown side of what I have than cognac 🤣
Good luck getting that perfect photo with these new high def cameras.

To your point, it's the middle ground between beige and brown. And it's a perfect shade.

Got to clean my X7 for the 2nd time since new. Applied some poor man's ceramic hybrid wax which turned out OK.. Recently ordered Sonax Ceramic coating to apply next time around, after doing some paint correction of course. Here are some pictures to share..
