X7s and the like will eventually push the legislators to force us out of decent cars like M3s and M4s. At least that's my opinion...🥴

Stumbled n some data to suggest the Alpina may have the 523hp N63B44T3 engine that is featured in the M850i.

It fits a specific client and market. I love my B7 and the XB7 would be perfect for a family/winter car with no compromises. It will be very fast (0-60 high 3s) and easy to drive daily. My B7 is so easy to drive and quiet sometimes I forget how fast it is. I have owned many M cars and soon a M8 and possibly a X5M but none have been as all around perfect as the Alpinas I have owned. Yes it will be $160k well optioned but price it against a loaded GLS63 or even an entry Bentayga and you find it a bargain plus very rare and exclusive.

New news article about the Alpina XD7 on BMW Blog
https://www.bmwblog.com/2019/08/12/a...7-m-surrogate/ Artist concept renderings. Honestly, I'm not so much a fan. Not the color, not the little bits it adds, and I've never really liked the Alpina wheels. But hey, if someone wants to donate one to me... Says it should be here next year, 2020. |
