Emailed salesman (large Bay Area dealer) I worked with to purchase my 21 X7 and a previous 530e, said he could get me 8% off MSRP for week 36 (sept 5th) allocation. Ordered the car today and got a production number. Now the waiting begins.
The KBB says my 21 w/24K miles is worth $75K at the midpoint for a private party sale. That car had a $94K MSRP. |

Does anyone know what the fees associated with using BMW Financial Services are, what the minimum amount you need to borrow is and how long you have to keep the loan for in order to qualify for the $750 financing loyalty credit? If the fee plus interest you have to pay exceeds the $750 credit, I wouldn’t want to do it. Thanks.

The amount listed above is correct.
There are stores that may say the "minimum is 10K, 15K, or XXXX amount.". That is a dealership preference. |

No. There are just the normal dealer fees you'd pay regardless of whether you finance, lease, or just cut a check. Only application fee that I know of with BMWFS is when you apply to assume someone's lease.

just put my order in today
I am in the tri-state area, custom build w/ delivery in four weeks for $500 under MSRP (I'll believe the four weeks when it happens). I thought I got a good deal until I saw nkole's post above who got 8% off MSRP in the bay area!
Every dealer I spoke with or visited led with $5k above MSRP for the build, but they didn't seem to be holding to it once they realized I was serious about buying and was serious about shopping around. We may be at a turning point now that production has ramped. My only gripe was that the only non-runflat tires for m-sport were 23". Not loving the idea of having runflats but but I like the idea of 23" tires less *♂️ |

Can anyone corroborate this? I didn't want RFTs and did get the space saver spare but was under the assumption that I would just replace the RFTs to regular tires once they wore down.

the spare tire is an add on. you must select 1XL (wheel and tire option) to get the non runflat tires, it replaces standard equipment 1XK. 1XL adds the spare tire. all other wheels retain the runflats when adding the spare. the only other option that is non runflat is the 1FN 23" rims, but thats mostly because there are no runflats in that size

All I have been getting is MSRP + few accessories thrown in. Financing at 4.99% through BMW financial. However, I will go with my personal bank that I do business with since I get a much better rate. Has anyone gotten any better deals in this specific city/area in terms of negotiating final price on a 2023 BMW X7 M60i? |

I haven't confirmed if it is for a 5 year term or longer. It is a purchase that is going to be under a business. So we decided to purchase and not lease. Credit score is above excellent. So 4.99% is what I am quoted without a credit check. I was going to place an order at the end of this month. However, after reading a different forum regarding a new service pack that is due in April 2023. I have decided to wait until then. |

I agree that there is some sticker shock with 4.99. I don't want to pay it. However, when inflation is X.XX and it is higher than the APR are you really overpaying in economic terms. not hard dollars in your bank account.

BMWFS 80/20 rule on financing?
Was told my car should be arriving soon, hopefully, and started discussion with the finance manager. Was told that BMWFS has an 80/20 rule on how much you are allowed to put down and how much you have to borrow. You are only allowed to put down up to 20% of the MSRP amount. So if the car has an MSRP of $100,000 you can only put down the maximum of $20,000 and have to finance $80,000 (not taking into account any taxes, fees, etc in example). After you receive your first bill, you can pay off any principal balance but need to leave at least $10,000 of a balance for 3 months. And then you can pay it off anytime thereafter. This is what is needed to qualify for the $750 loyalty credit. Does anyone have further experience with this as I never heard of this rule before. Thanks.
