Couple of glitches with 07/2023.53 OTA upgrade

Installed the 07/2023.53 OTA this morning on my 2023 X7 40i(ID8) and noticed a couple of glitches. The CEL came on after the upgrade and stayed on for a bit but cleared itself eventually when I was driving. My fuel gauge now seems to be showing a phenomenal mpg - 625 mi on an almost full tank! (filled up yesterday). An idrive reset didn't resolve it, so hoping it will reset/recalibrate on the next refuel. Just thought I'd post this, in case folks are running into similar issues and have any suggestions on how to fix the incorrect fuel mileage. Thank you!

the range estimate will go back to normal with driving. the OTA update reset the MPG calculation back to about 27mpg. it will drop from there. it will do that every time you get an update.

I upgraded this morning, too. My CEL came on and is still on after the upgrade. Hate the new font for MPH and other text on the left side of wide screen (and head up display font) because it doesn’t match fonts on right side of screen. Damn FrAnKeN fOnT.

Same here with the range estimate. My DAPP failed though. Hopefully it will work again tomorrow.

Has the 07/2023.53 upgrade for iDrive 8.5 started rolling out to the US yet? I don't see it when I search for upgrades

My Bowers and Wilkins center dash speaker LED light is stuck in white after the OTA upgrade. Anyone else having this issue?

We did the update last night. It's my wife's daily driver and she siad the CEL was on all day as well. After I got home I went and started the car, it's off. The Personal Assistant also is not responding to questions or commands unless she pushes a newly arrived "Talk To Me" button on the Personal Assistant tab. She said that's new and doesn't remember that button ever being there and that she used to just able to say "Hey BMW......" and ask or give a command. Any insight on this? Is this just a setting or something new? I couldn't find a setting buried anywhere for that push button feature.

11/2023.xx wont be OTA till feb at the earliest. it will be dealer only load. OTA lags the dealer load by 3-4 months.
I had 07/2023.33 installed beginning of august as part of a dealer service visit. 07.2023.53 is being delivered OTA in the past week.

Yes, I think there was a note in the upgrade that said that the upgrade disables the Hello BMW wake word and that it had to be re-enabled for some reason. I had the same issue and had to re-enable. Will check later what menu its under, when I'm in the car but likely under "Personal Assistant" > Settings"

Its Personal Settings -> settings -> wake word
Enable "Hello BMW". Or you can setup your own wake word

Can anyone else with Bowers & Wilkins confirm if your center dash speaker LED is also stuck in white?

To clarify - the color of the light doesn’t change with / match the ambient lighting anymore. It should be green here but it’s stuck in white.

Ahh I see what you mean - mine was white while the ambient lightning was blue.
