They did that with the previous generation. X5 as well. Carbon is M package and sapphire is luxury

I totally agree. It's bad enough that they don't have the full palette of individual colors in South Carolina for the X cars. BMW should at least let you order any color you want that they use in the South Carolina plant if you are willing to pay for it. Also, why can't they have more of the individual colors? It can't be that hard to change the paint color.
