E90 acceleration

Right i am quite new to the technical modifications, all this fancy computer stuff, considering my last major moded car was a mk2 escort. I was looking at a few things and was looking at BM town, are they any good to deal with? I was looking at a set of alloys and the sprint booster, has anyone got any idea if this at all works? As i said new to all this computer jiggery pokery so any help would be greatly appreciated.

set of alloys will always make your car look a lot better(unless u get ugly or unsuitable ones) and the of all the reviews ive seen about sprintboosters, their apparently their not worth the money...i believe they make the car think uve slammed ur foot on the accelerator when in actuality ur just lightly pressing it, in order to go faster.....dont get me wrong tho, some people love it

Hope this can help. Most cars in the 21st century have replaced the more conventional throttle cable for an ECM (Electronic Control Module) that translates how hard the pedal is pushed into electronic signals in order to provide power to the wheels.
The ETC (Electronic Throttle Control), which is also known as Drive-By-Wire, has the unfortunate downside of delayed response and subdued acceleration, which can create problems in certain situations such as up-hill starts, quick gearchanges and overtaking.

The Sprint Booster aims to overcome this throttle response delay for ETC equipped vehicles, by providing crisp, on-tap acceleration for whenever the driver demands it.
