How's the quality of the painted IND badges? Particularly the "M" since which looks challenging to paint. May splurge for these but leave in their OEM location.
IND paint quality is excellent. I always use them on all my cars. This time around though I had a problem with the mineral white matching. The front deletes are a little off. They asked for the tow hook cover so they could match, but on the M it is black! The only other option is to give them my gas cap door which is just not realistic lol
I've done four cars with their deletes and everyone has been a perfect match. This is the first time and it's only because of the mineral paint. But Ryan at IND is definitely working to correct the issue. Definitely the best
Mineral White has always been a tough color to match, even for IND. I have seen these same discussions may times over on the M3/M4 forum. Your best bet to get a match in the most efficient manner is to provide them a paint sample from your car. Even then it will be hard to get a perfect match, but it should be close.

No, that's the lowest setting with the air suspension lol. Looks slammed. Or, sadly, a white minivan

Oh wow, I didn't realize the tow hook area was supposed to be covered.. I assume it entirely covers the area where the tow hook is?

Looks like mine came with out, I already thought it was strange it was all exposed like that...

Lol no the tow HOOK cover. The little square in the front and rear that hides the hook if they have to tow your car. On the 40 and 50 models it is painted the color of the car. On the M it is black. They need a small piece of the car to color match.

Ahhhhhh... I see now what cover you mean lol. It does make me wish there was a piece that would cover the whole area and make the bumper "whole" when not using tow hook. Take note BMW!

Ah, pisser. This is the first I've heard of challenges matching Mineral White. (or any other color)

The countdown begins.

The Mrs. needed a bigger car. This should fix that.

It does complete the look of the M Sport. To my eye it's always looked like something was missing at the bottom.

My brand new X7.

Picked her up 2 days ago. Love this more than any vehicle I've had before.

Wife said she liked the grill inserts she saw on a different BMW at the dealership when we picked ours up. My internal response was REALLY?! I always thought they looked tacky.. especially since it's usually a base 320i that has them but.... since the wife expressed interest (how can you say no!) I decided to "surprise" her and get them off Amazon....

TBH I'm not convinced, obviously looks cleaner without. What do you guys think??

PS: FWIW it is'a a real M50i

I’d go with your first instinct. Personally I’ve never been a fan.
