Awesome.
Looks like he is manually shifting the DCT and letting the PDK Sport do it. PDK Sport is so superior to DCT, so who knows how much that translates into.....anyway I am taking the GT3 to COTA next weekend and hopefully the GTS in November so....same driver, same track....and will be able to give thoughts on the comparison...

Auto Bild just tested the GTS as well.
0-100km 3.7 0-160km 7.8 0-200km 12.2 0-250km 21.6 Sachsenring track: Big jump in track performance, 1:33.17 compare to standard M4 DKG (non CP) 1:37.22, and just slightly slower than GT3's 1:32.97 |

Great find!
Maybe it's just a camera mounting issue, but it seemed like the GTS was bouncing all around after coming off the bumps whereas the GT3 seemed to settle down a lot quicker. Again, hard to say since we don't know where the cameras were mounted.

b/c of the adjustability.... I wonder what settings are on the GTS...
Walter talked about he would drop the the front 10mm and the rear 5mm for track use and maximum attack of rear splitter and front splitter.... but would probably leave all the other settings in street....(rebound etc). |

That being said. The reason the lock rings are on the coil overs for lowest position is to keep corner balance. This is done at Garching and then the collars are put in place. Therefore whether you are at high setting or low setting it is corner balanced. I am sure it would take a serious driver to notice this if you did the 10/5 drop but these are the steps M took on the GTS To dial in the High/Low compression and rebound takes a skilled suspension tech or a driver that really understands these settings.

I am exploding here, please give me the time from Nurburgring😑😑😑🙄😌. Seems he did lose 1-2 Tenthes oversteeing the M4 GTS end of lap? Then again GT3 seems to understeer a tiny bit more? I am very keen to know these 2 cars accuall weight when tested. I guess M4 GTS is more porky, If so It drive very well👍

The more I think of it the more I see M4 GTS is big Bang For the buck. The speed and performance it deliver is top notch at that price. Its nr 16 on sport auto hockenheim list in regards of laptime. Thats some big dollar cars on that list. I guess sport auto and Christian G is like 3-5 sec slower than BMW factory GTS driver on Nur. Then its on 10 place on Nurburgring sport auto list. Propper fast this car For the money its cheep.
