Means ///M Sport emblem on the front wheel quarters are deleted. Unfortunately you cannot add it to your build (in this case un-delete), sometimes M Sport vehicles slip out of the factory with the ///M logos on - consider yourself a lucky owner.

Otherwise, you can order the part and stick it back on yourself. They're around $24 per emblem and you'll need 2x

You need 2x - 51148094000

It looks awfully small on such a large vehicle. It might look better with using the M logo from the M 50i.

I'm happy it's not on the US builds...

Thanks for the info. Good thing I'm really indifferent to the badge/logo. If it was on the car, cool. If not, that's OK too.

Still wondering why they don't put it on. I did get the M Sport package...

It's a good question to pose to BMW USA marketing where it's on all M Sport package models around the world.

Unfortunately M marketing is easily misunderstood by consumers in the USA - vehicles with M Sport package (appearance, suspension if available), vehicles that are M Performance (appearance, engine and suspension) and true ///M vehicles (appearance, engine and suspension).

Uninformed owners and re-badging posers will just say I own a ///M or M Performance model.

I think it looks good with the larger black M.

I just photoshopped it on there. I did the chrome one too but thought the black looked better and used one the size from the back like M50i M part. The one on the photo toward the top of the thread is way too small for the size of the vehicle so I made it with the larger one. Personally I think it looks fantastic. Am I alone?

You're alone. It's meant to be a subtle accent not a ///M billboard.

I understand but it's so small it looks like that stupid GM square badge.
