Unfortunately I don't think there is a painted solution because as you said there will still be the small chrome strip in the taillights. Only option I can think of is using film to cover but then you will see the edges and will not look as clean as paint.

We will have the black tips for the exhaust on our site in a few days.

Front grille seems to be couple months out still but we do have them on order.

Any update on the black front grille? Are the black tips on the site yet?

Dusting this off as I’m wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to fix a crack in the plastic covering. I had the lift gate open and was backing up toward a garage to get closer to the vacuum when I cracked it (crack is bigger than the size of a quarter). Already has some condensation inside like a cracked headlight. Very annoyed at myself.

It seems the 2024 with M Sport Pro package now blacks this trim piece out. I wonder if it can be ordered and installed on a 23?

Pretty sure it will be but you also need to replace the tails to get rid of the chrome strip there. I supect the piece will be orderable in a month or so.

Well I have incentive to do this rather than fix mine I guess. Will reach out to my SA and see what they say.

Check my thread below. I paid around $115 to replace the trim. It's a quite simple process to change it.

This is gold. Thanks my man. May see what I can do about getting the new shadow line version. May look a bit odd if I don’t do the rear lights too but may also come out alright. TBD.

No worries. The shadow line and M60i use 51135A59DE0 for the trim. As you mentioned, if you switch to tinted trim version, then you need to wrap the rear lights with a black vinyl. Otherwise, the rear lights look will not match to the rest.

IND-Distribution I see the LCI black grille with M logo (https://ind-distribution.com/collect...le-matte-black).
Do you have the same black grille w/o the M logo? I'm just a lowly 40i with M-sport

Yes there will be one being released by BMW in a few weeks. It will be matte black without the M logo.
