driving with dress shoes with a non flexible/stiff sole is annoying to me, I much preffer driving in sneakers or something like this http://www.ghbass.com/product/nolan+...rPicks&from=fn

Most loafers work well, I also have similar loafers and they feel comfortable. |

You can say that again. My wife can drive her Jetta Sportwagen TDI Manual with heels on just as she would in flats. No stalling or jerkiness. It's impressive to say the least.

Driving shoes
Do any of you guys have a special set of shoes for driving in?
If so, any recommendations. Thanks, PB

I got some Allen Edmonds driving shoes, not necessarily for driving but to have something I can put on to run a quick errand. I love my other AE shoes but find these uncomfortable when walking around in them so they are just sitting in my closet.

Don't have these yet- but will once I can justify spending the cash on $500 shoes ($300 here)

Like the watch thread, this thread is likely to spiral out of control.
Having said that, I'll start. I have the above mentioned Tods in suede and brown leather. They are unequaled on long hauls. The bottoms are small rubber stubs that dig into the pedals well. Just don't plan to walk in them much...they don't last long when you do that. |

Neah, you can't heel'n'toe properly in flops.
