I’m about to place my order! What are your favorite trims to go with the black upholstery? I can’t view these in person..

I went with carbon fiber based off of YouTube videos and how mich praise it got, but I have brooklyn grey as a color

I did the same - BG with Carbon Fiber. Picked up an X6 M50i for my wife a couple weeks ago too (went in to order my car and drove home with a new one for her too ) that's Black Sapphire Metallic, Black Merino and Carbon Fiber - it has a great sportiness to it - almost like a legit M, but not quite for sure. If you're looking for something more on the "lux" side I'd go with one of the wood options or piano black (if you're up for the upkeep to keep piano black looking great that is).

I have the fineline black wood trim with my black interior and it looks excellent to me. It has a more "luxury" look rather than the carbon fiber which would look far more "sporty/technical". My wife's X5 has the carbon fiber on black interior and it looks great too. I think of her X5 as more sporty than my X7 from just visual cues.

If I were going for the sport look I'd go carbon fiber. For luxury look, something like what I have on my X7.
