Thank you. My forum search also came up with accutint. Sounds like the winner.

I've had good experiences at both Accutint - Seattle and Midnight Window Tint - Bellevue

I used to use a place in pierce county as they did flawless, fast and reasonably priced. I live up near i90 now so I use NWautoshield for the same reasons. They are in Seattle and mostly do new cars from the dealer (bmw, etc.). All they do is clearbra and tint. They don't focus on anything else.

I had Accutint of Bellevue work on the wife's car. They do a great job.

Metropolitan Detail in Bellevue. You pay more, but it's worth it for the extra attention to detail. You'll also see they're no stranger to working on cars much more expensive than ours, which was great peace of mine. I had them do my tint and roof, and am glad I picked them over Accutint (where I only got a quote).

I have seen the cars and work from Metro, Accutint Bellevue, and NWAutoShield (among others).
Metro is as everyone says... top quality (saw everyday cars (bmw, merc, Porsche, corvette, telsa) Accutint Bellevue... quality as well (saw everyday and a couple lambos) NWautoshield... quality as well (saw everyday cars) I think they have all worked on $200k+ cars What I saw at metro is that for full xpel they take the door handles off and some other parts so there would be few if any locations you an see the xpel line. Others didn't seem to do that but you can take off the logos and trim yourself and get a seamless look and save 25%. As far as tint, the only place saw doing tint (in person) was accutint. All 3 places seem to be top quality. For window tint, it's straightforward and they should all do similarly good quality. Last edited by schnazzy; 06-22-2015 at 02:28 AM.. |

I've used pretty much all the other shops mentioned in this thread. Just because you pay more doesn't mean you get more. Caleb is a straight fw guy and have been happy with his services 10+ years now. And he will offer discounts if you are getting multiple things done. NWAutoshield is great as the owner (Neal) has a policy that he will not take off any parts from your car during install. And I absolutely don't want any one taking my brand new car apart. He did a great job on our SQ5. He goes the extra step for sure but all he offers is paint protection (he is in house installer for Tesla and BMW Seattle). If you are looking for one stop shop, Seattle Accutint is the place to go. Metropolitan detail is ok but I think they think a bit too "highly" of themselves. And their parking lot alone is enough to freak me out. Cars are parked inches away from each other. The only reason I go there is bec they are the only clearplex installer. Hope this helps.

NWAutoshield does window tint and xpel.
Also saw a pretty hot white M4 there, with red interior, some BMW CF pieces and an aftermarket rear diffuser. Tinted the windows nice and dark. I prefer no tint on my car, it takes too long to roll the window down so people can see you flipping them off. |

Mr. Tint Bellevue. Single man operation, but does high quality work and has done four of my cara with no issues. Just lower cost than all mentioned above due to lower overhead.

My friend who's been tinting windows for a long time recently opened his shop. Quality and professional work. Price is unbeatable! Check out Diamond Window Tinting in Tukwila.

Looking through this list of recommendations and wondering if anyone has any updates . New tint recommendations .
Seems all of the spots are extremely expensive in Seattle. 50% more than anywhere else in the country |

Just had my Audi Allroad tinted at NW Autoshield. Dropped it off at 8am and picked it up on my lunch break. Looks awesome and the price was extremely reasonable. M3 is next for Xpel and tint.

Literally just got back to the office after dropping off my wife's new ride with them for a tint. They did an awesome job on my M3 - they even gave me a discount for being a repeat customer! -X- |

My new car is going in to NW AutoShield for tint and xpel tomorrow. Can't wait to get it all done and start driving.

I just got my car back from Neal at NWautoshield as well! His crew did an awesome job! I'd highly recommend him as he is very easy to work with! Neal was more critical about the clear bra finish than I was, and he's willing to redo parts if they don't smooth out after the 2-3 week settle in period.
