disable alarm at home.
Is there a way to set the car up so that the car doesn’t lock up or set alarm when I park at home or work? Right now as soon as I walk away from the car in the home garage, it locks up and alarm is set.
Will I have to lock and arm manually all the time if I want it to not be active at home? On my Tesla there are a few options to ‘disable alarm’ at ‘home’, ‘work’ and other designated places. |

I don't see any kind of "geo-fencing" type capability on the X7. I manually lock each time I walk away because I turned off comfort access as it doesn't match my usage habits. IF I don't want to arm at home, just close the doors and walk away.
Not sure what you mean by "I want to be not be active at home" - maybe turn off comfort access which won't auto lock, close the door and walk away? |

‘i want to be not active at home’ meaning, I don’t want the car alarm to be set when I pull into the garage. |

Just curious, why? I've had mine in the garage for over 2 years with it auto locking and never an issue. Is there a concern with having the alarm on in the garage, or just that much going on in there to potentially set it off?

There are two options you have to change I think.
Turn off option to auto lock after a time period. The key only unlocks when near proximity of vehicle but it does not lock/arm. Try the first option |

I think net net, X7 isn't geo-aware in any sense so the more useful way to think about the issue is what you want the car to do when you walk away from it (regardless of where it is). Turning off comfort access will just make it very manual which I can understand is completely opposite of what you can do in your Tesla.

I just don’t like having to have my keys on me when ever I need to get into the car in the garage. The comfort access is nice
when I’m running around town and walk away/walk towards the car. Just the car would not alarm itself when at ‘home’. I guess the only real way it to disable comfort access. Just got used to driving Tesla for the past 5 years and it knows when I’m at home and doesn’t lock or alarm the car, unless I want to with a push of a button on my phone. |

Wondering whats the reason X7 can’t or does not have this yet. This most annoying feature to have the car honk at you when the car is on and doing a pit shop.
