My 2015 335i Melbourne Red (new member)
Hi everyone
Thank you to everyone for providing such valuable information, this community is a wealth of knowledge. I spent a lot of time lurking around before I bought this vehicle, the information found in these threads is priceless. This is my second BMW, I used to have an e36 328is a long time ago and I loved that vehicle. I found this car on auto trader, it's an off lease CPO vehicle and it only had 1,780 miles on it! Yes, you read that right. It has the M-sport package, comfort access, and premium package. The car still smells brand new. Apparently, it was babied by a senior citizen couple, who just wanted a sports sedan on the weekends. They hardly drove it at all, hence only 1,780. I flew down to North Carolina this past weekend from NY and drove the car home over two days. The dealership was a pleasure to deal with (Hendrick BMW of Northlake) and the salesman, Terrance Clark, was very professional, he put up with my haggling: cool!: I bought the car for cash and worked a great deal with them. Then I had them do the MPPK engine tune and put the MPE on while I waited. I knew I wanted these mods because of the information I garnered from this forum! I didn't want to void my warranty and just wanted a subtle exhaust and a few extra horses. I worked a good deal on the parts too, it made sense to do it all at once. I also had them order the parts ahead of my arrival, and I inspected them before they were installed. The ride home was so much fun, I took i81 north to the Poconos, I really liked driving through Shenandoah Valley and would love to do that drive again. Then, the next morning, I drove out to my house in eastern Long Island and took my wife for a ride, she loves the car too. For the majority of the drive, I had the car in Eco Pro and got 30 mpg on the first day. On the second day, I started to have some "fun" in sport mode and sport +, but I didn't push it too hard, gotta break the car in. Glad to be a member of the forum and again, thank you

Congratulations on new car. Melbourne Red is my second favorite BMW color, after Estoril blue. I got a CPO 2015 335i a few months ago and love it.

Thanks, I love the Estoril blue too. What color interior do you have? With such low miles, I had to go Melbourne red, and I love the color. During my search, I found a fully loaded Estoril blue, but it had 22k Miles. Also, I only wanted a 6mt, and it had to be CPO, so that made the search even harder!

Congrats, car looks great. The black grills will look awesome on the red.... I just changed my single slat to double slat, make the front end aggressive. That sound like a great drive. I'm just outside Philly, sound like a nice weekend drive!

I know, sub 2k Miles...still blown away by that. And, it’s very hard to stay in eco pro lol. Took a lot of discipline.

Beautiful car and awesome find. I have a Melbourne red 340i which is my third BMW, but by far my favorite color.

Congrats, beautiful car.
Take her out on Old Montauk Highway, lots of fun over those hills and hairpin turns. Would always stop at John's for ice cream after a drive. |

I liked the color when I first saw it online. But when I saw it in person, I liked it even more. It really does the F30 justice.

Thank you. The red is gorgeous. Hilarious about the low mileage right!? Took her out this morning for a brisk drive, sport plus mode
