Just curious about returning customers.

Wondering how many of you that are going from F15 to G05 ?

How many X5's did you have in total?

What made you go from one x5 to another ? Did you consider any other car ?

Me personally i am going from 2016 F15 to G05 and this is going to be my second x5.

To be honest i went to see alot of cars. The only other car that i liked was RRsport but price is ludicrous on it. So decision was very clear.

I have a 2014 X5, my first BMW. I always owned Toyota's. When I decided to upgrade to a luxury vehicle, I thought it would be a Lexus RX. I drove it and it felt incredibly small - and boring. At the same time, this was when pics of the F15 started coming out and I was obsessed. The test drive was incredible, but I wasn't sure I wanted to pay that much money, so I briefly considered an Acura MDX. But I couldn't get the X5 out of my mind. I finally decided I was going to get the one I really wanted and ordered an X5 with the packages and options I wanted.

I ordered my G05 a little over a month ago with options that won't be available until December, so I'm patiently waiting. I think the exterior of the G05 is a bit more athletic (and I am one who does like the new grill), but man, the upgrades of the interior?? I can't wait to get it.

yes, i found lexus to be boring as well. I am looking to get MPE for G05 but so far i cant find anything that would state that it will ever be available in the states.

14 X1, 18 X5 (Keeping), and soon to be 19 X5!

Great cars. I don't think you can get anything close to them anywhere else, especially at the price point. Ticking all the boxes puts them right in the sweet spot! Enjoy your car.

Coming out of a 2013 X5 (E70). Really loved it - at 6 years, I'm ready to trade up. I looked at a lot of other choices and couldn't find anything like the X5. Waited until I could test drive a G05 to place my order (last weekend).

Will be a bigger jump for me coming out of the E70, which is pretty spartan technology-wise. But performance wise, my E70 is still a blast to drive (has DHP).

'14 F15 to the same engine for the G05. Just added almost all options possible to avoid having regrets later on. To be honest, I had a hard time pulling the trigger for the new one as the old one is still excellent. But it was with less options on it so I thought that could be improved. The only other car I found appealing was the GLC 63s AMG, the face lift due to go on sale in April 2019. That engine is superb (owned the C63s coupe) but it's basically a C class and the quality of the interior doesn't match the X5's. Also a smaller car...

I am going on my 8th X5. I have had every body style made and my first two were 3.0i then I moved up to v8 models for a while and currently have a 16 f15 XDrive35i and my 19 xDrive40i arrived at the dealer yesterday.

I considered X4 macan and cayenne. Sticking to tried and true. Best bang for the buck.

I’m going from my first X5, 2014, to the G05 mainly because this new one is a little bigger, looks a little heftier and has quite a few upgrades that are attractive to me... plus I like to get the first of a new series because if you keep them well maintained you have what looks like a new BMW for the duration of that model, which is usually seven years... only five this time, obviously. Didn’t see any other makes that even tempted me plus I would have to get divorced to buy anything other than a BMW...

Currently have a 2016 and 2017 F15. Just ordered a a 40i. Briefly considered the X3 M40i and X4 M40i but prices are were too close to X5 for me and neither come with Multi Contour seats which I love. Only other options I would have considered were RR Sport or Cayenne neither of which I was willing to pay the premium for. Q8 might have been a contender if the timing worked.

I am going from a 2016 F15 to a 2019 G05. See below for prior vehicles owned.

The 2016 F15 is my favorite vehicle, by far, due to the following -> all aspects of performance including high speed handling, responsiveness, foul weather perseverance (monsoon rain, snow, sleet, hail, etc.), ergonomics, and safety for my family.

Lease is up - I looked around at Mercedes, Porsche, etc. and found nothing close to the F15. I thought about a 2018 F15, but decided to order a 2019 G05 due to trust in BMW!

I’ve had 3 X5s and 2 X5Ms. I will be test driving the new X5 tomorrow or Saturday and if I like it, will be ordering the 50i.

I still have a 2011 E70 X5. Didn't like the F15 generation so kept the E70. Need to actually drive a G05 before I will consider buying one.
