Question What kind of road-trip MPG do you get on your 2022+ X7 40i?

I watched youtube video recently and they talked about putting mostly highway miles on their 2024 X7 and seeing an average of 27mpg. Anyone else seeing numbers like that on longer trips?

Yes. I have seen it multiple times on MY24. Its surprising to me that a car this big and so much hp can also be efficient. Attached are my Feb stats. Not too much driving but I had a 500 mile trip in there.

I did a 5k mile road trip last summer in my 2020 X7 40i. 4 people and tons of luggage (packed to the roof, couldn't see out the rear window).

On some of the longer stretches (4+ hour non stop), the app showed 30 mpg. Actual measurement at the pump came out to between 27 and 28 mpg.

Several stretches in New Mexico and Arizona we were traveling at 90-100 mph. Super smooth and didn't seem to affect the consumption much.

We drove to WDW back in February and we weren't in a hurry and amazingly enough the traffic wasn't too bad. I did use ECO Pro and kept the speed around 70mph because of all the big hat boys patrolling the interstate, especially in Georgia. Best was the 29.1mpg on the state roads before getting on the interstate. Got 27.9mpg on the interstate.

BTW, used hands-free driving probably 85-90% of the trip. Because the 4-lane state highways were divided, the driving assist plus was available. It was amazing how much more relaxed I was when we arrived, compared to previous trips, when I had to touch the wheel every 7 seconds (before the latest update) or grip the wheel for the entire trip (before getting the X7 last June).

Just checked my February review and a 29.5mpg snuck in there somewhere.
