Picked up a '21 X7 in Northern New Jersey last week and was only offered the loyalty incentive ($3k). they wouldn't even honor the 1.9% financing rate and offered only 2.9% on a 60 month loan. Not much leverage as inventory is super limited in my area (especially for captains chair models) and there is tons of demand. There were literally three other parties asking for the keys to test drive the model I was purchasing while I was doing the paperwork. I have a good friend who is a broker and he basically said I was lucky not to pay over MSRP in our area right now.

For sure. I really didn't push or negotiate too hard because my wife needed a new vehicle and this was her choice after testing out all the competition. I didn't want to lose out on a local vehicle with supply so low given that it matched all her needs/wants in terms of options. if it were for me personally, I would have shopped and bargained harder.

I added the running boards as I have young children who make extensive use of the running boards on the X5 we have now. Also I love the way it looks on the vehicle I configured. |

Most of the dealers I quoted basically told me "Be grateful that we are not marking up from MSRP," so it's a horrible timing for an X7 (or any luxury cars honestly due to global chip shortage) but I had to get a MY22 because 1) I don't like the LCI, and 2) I need the car to arrive before the calendar year end for tax purposes. So overall I consider 5.8% off MSRP a nice win given the current supply and demand. |

We are ready to order x7 40i with m package, (msrp: $91,200+ destination fees). First time bimmer. Located at the Bay Area. One sales guy told me he can get $3k off msrp. Is this best deal ?
Can you recommend a good sales person in my area if you happen any. Thank you. |

I have not pull the trigger yet. So PenFed is a car buying service. But it seems I don't have the option to pick Package. for example, I want everything except running boards... If I go through PenFed and finance with them, I will get $3250. Is that on top if MSRP-$3000 (dealer promised to offer)? so I get $6250 off out of door? |

If the dealer's $3k is straight discount off MSRP with no financing/leasing tied in, then you should be able to combine the $3k with the $3250 from penfed. If you have to wait 6 months for penfed, then you might want to sign up for BMWCCA membership as well. If you purchase the 3 year membership, you'll get $1k rebate on the X7 after 6 months. If you're a costco member, you might want to try the costco auto program. I've had good luck getting a decent discount with that program. |

I know Costco is giving a lot of discounts to Audi, but not BMW recently. Anyone got a good deal with Costco?

when we got my wife's X3 6 years ago, the costco price was approximately 9% off MSRP. |

https://penfed.truecar.com/oem/landing/bmw/ On the X7: It is currently $3250 if you don’t finance with BMWFS or $500 if you do. This comes from BMW and not the dealer. It can be combined with loyalty, conquest, and/or college grad. Please note that some of these other offers require you to finance through BMWFS so you’ll need to know which combination of incentives is better for your situation. Costco discount is simply pre-negotiated prices through a truecar portal.
