I was wondering that myself - IND has some black tips for the G05. Fingers crossed they might fit?

I wouldn't think so, But who knows. I would've already bought them. I asked Ryan at IND about exhaust a while back and nothing. I'm sure he'd know if they'd work on X7. The only thing I'm thinking is body shop for removal, powder coat then body shop to reinstall. Just a lot of work.

Per BMW the tips will not fit on the G07. Hopefully they release G07 version soon.

Local custom guy said he could wrap it in place with ceramic film. Do you think that’s possible?

A lot of the X5 guys have wrapped it or painted because there's no factory black grill. I'd think you're much better off in the long run with factory part through IND.

With factory part installation, do we have to take the bumper out to install?
I am wondering if it could be painted without taking the bumper off?

No bumper removal for grill replacement. The grill would have to come off regardless, to paint or wrap.

Couple more close up. I did the wrapping of chrome reverse lenses tint and badges myself.

Looking great, Pipe Dr. Beautiful tint, and liking the black out items. What do you mean by chrome reverse lenses tint?

On the contrary, Pipe. We need more pics in this forum. Will never get tired of the various pics you send. Get a lot out of them.

91% isopropyl Alcohol. Soak a Terry towel and let it sit on the sticker for like 5 minutes. Then I used my finger nails to pick/peel it off. Its a little tedious but took like 30-45. I did it on my Msport 535xi a few years back. I always thought they were very offensive and they stick out like a soar thumb on black headliners

Great thread. Already placed my order for the black grille, black badging, and front reflector deletes. The install on those front reflectors looks a little more hairy than I want to mess with; may have to find some time to bring this to a dealer...

One other mod question -- I am interested in doing those blue brake calipers that I've seen on some recent BMW models. Are those just M brake caliper covers that can be bought and easily installed? How difficult a mod would be this be?
Just think it looks so slick...

Thanks.

Do you not have them? Those are the M Sport Brakes, which are part of the OEM Dynamic Handling DHP Package on the 50i.

If you don't have DHP, it should be really easy (but probably not cheap) to buy the OEM sport brakes and install, as long as your wheels can fit them, which those rims you have should work.
