Show me your spacers

I put 12mm H&R all around, not sure I love the "even" look. I may move towards a more staggered look as the even look has it looking more Jeepish.

Anyone running 14 or 15mm in the rear? I can't decide if I keep 12mm rear and change the front to 10mm, increase the rears.

Love to hear thoughts and see pics if available!

aesthetics. this isn't a bmw-specific thing.

most vehicles are supposed to keep the tire inside the wheel well, and commonly set in around the innermost portion of the wheel well to keep crap from slinging off the tire all over the side of the car.

unless you're on gravel all the time, this isn't -that- big of a deal.

I believe my HF3's are about 12mm more aggressive than stock, front and back. I prefer to skip the spacers in favor of getting wheels built the way I want, but spacers are like 10% the price of wheels, if not less in many cases.

Recently switched to 15mm all around. Originally had 12mm front and 15mm rear.

I don't hv more pics just yet as I just installed yesterday after I got it back from the dealership. I will take more pics this weekend. RG Sport also sales lowering links for the X7 as well that I just ordered for $100 from his website. I ordered them several months ago but never attempted to install them so I sent them back. But after having second thoughts……I just reordered them again today 😂

Thanks for the info...I looked through their pics on FB and Insta...I love the Carbon lip on the X5. Nice and subtle. I wish they had that for our rides.

I love the stance on this blue one. This appears to be at the lowest setting, which the vehicle will rise up to the next highest setting once you place it in drive.

With the winter tyre package I'm looking at buying, I'm assuming that the wheel offset also affect how far the wheels pock out?
For example my current summer OEM wheels are ET32 fronts and ET43 rears with the wheels I'm looking at purchasing being ET30 fronts and ET38 rears - therefore I'm assuming the new wheels will pock out a further 2mm fronts and 5mm rears on top of my existing 15mm spacers?

That would be nice but also a little risky to drive around with the bags that low to the bump stops. Would probably have a terrible ride if I had to guess.

Thats our old x7 and yes thats load level...those links have been great and on our m50i now. Before wheels we ran 12/15 spacers and they looked great

next size up with H&R is 18mm so looks like I will be 12/18. I have H&R on the front and I've always had good luck with them so I will take a chance on the size being the right set up. Was just going to do 12/15.

How hard was it to install the lowering links? Any tips, I'm installing mine Tuesday next week. I want it to set a lot lower.
