What did you pay for your M60i?
Afternoon all! Long time lurker and ready to pull the trigger on a 2023 X7 M60i. Located in Chicago, IL and taxes are brutal (18% on a lease) which has pushed me to purchase instead of lease. I’ve attached a build out that a local dealer quoted me yesterday. How “in line” is this pricing with what you all paid. Am I in the ball park? And a few side notes, they really lowballed me with my 2021 X3 M40i as it’s fully loaded and only has 8200 miles or so. Dealer quoted me 45k and Autonation quoted 52k. Second, I tried the X5 M50i but it’s too small for 2 car seats. Third, I contacted a auto broker from another forum and they were able to get me 2.5% off MSRP. Ultimately sounds like I’d be purchasing, putting down about 10k, with a monthly of $1800. Feedback or thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Why aren’t you taking the Autonation deal for $52K?
Do you get a tax break on purchase price if you trade in with the dealer? Are you ordering or is this on the lot or inbound. You can get better pricing if it's an inbound not sold yet...they'll want to move it faster. I think you can get more than $45K for your X3....just keep pushing them. If you can get another $5k from them, then you might not need to put anything down. But depends on your bank as I know some banks will only finance up to 95% of the vehicle value when you exceed $100K purchase price. Price was MSRP for my M60i two months ago...it was an inbound unit, so made for an easy deal. I got $1500 military rebate, free ceramic tint on all windows, free all weather liners as well. I had no doc fee either. No other discounts. Not nearly as great a deal I had on my 2021 X7, but those were different days when X7s were being had for 10-12% off MSRP. Hey, I saw you at the other forum! So the best x7 M60i deal is 3% off. No one else has managed to get a better repeatable deal. I used the same forum. That being said, I'm in the NYC area so shipping it makes it a wash. Right now the wholesale market is MSRP for built units. I paid 3% off with loyalty $750 and a 3.99% rate a month ago

Why would you do a 72mo loan and only 10% down with the rate at 5.49%. You would be much better getting with a 48mo loan(less int. and lower rate)and putting down a min. of 20%, preferably 50% down.

I got 3% off one of the first ‘23 X7 M60i. Also received whatever the applicable rebates were at the time.
If a larger discount is what you are waiting for then it’s best to wait until 2nd or 3rd quarter of next year. Interest rates aren’t going down and people arent going to be snapping these up as inventories increase.

I got one of the first units in country, July 31 build date, got it early August. As an order, it was MSRP. I ordered it in May, before the economy got sketchy. I was able to stack Employee Pricing plan through my employer which I believe was $750 or $1,000 as well as free Ceramic Coating (albeit I don’t think the product they use is the most exotic). At the time, and still now, it felt like a fair deal. I got way more for my trade from CarMax, so I went that way despite the tax savings. I didn’t finance, but given what has happened to rates as of late, securing a rate in May would’ve made a great deal in colparisok to where rates are now.

This seems to be a no brainer, need to finance that beast. I suggest heading over to leasehackr and trying to contact Clutch auto deals (if that's not who you contacted originally), which I believe services the Chicago area. He should be able to get you at least a few % off, you'll just have to take the broker fee into account. Good luck!
