I just removed the procede last night and got everything buttoned back up. I'm waiting on the v3 to show up now.

I'm going to take a video this weekend w/o the procede installed and just the mods, so don't hate if the car looks like a turd.

You will still be able to hear what it sounds like. I could do it today, but I just have a little non hd camera here.

I'm having one of my coworkers take the car to lunch today and I will ride passenger and record a video. I don't have the good camera here today, but I do have a camera that works pretty well.

Catless Downpipes, ETS Exhaust

Thanks!

Sorry Guys, this is not the final video. We are slammed today so i'm going to have to put it together over the weekend. Here is a quick sneak peak of the sound.

Last week I sent a question to Jeff @ ETS asking about their ETS BMW N54 335i Exhaust System:
"How well does this exhaust deal with the drone around 1900-2300 rpm in 6th with an automatic? My 08 335i sport Sedan currently has the mufflers deleted (previous owner) and the drone in that rpm range when on highway is bothersome on long trips."

I haven't gotten any response to date.

Does anyone have any experience with system? Either I find a system that doesn't or at least reduces the drone or I explore what several have mentioned to install a couple of magnaflow mufflers and x-pipe.

I'm stock other than than the muffler delete and the JB-4.

Any and all suggestions or recommendations is appreciated.

We don't have a Jeff that works here and I haven't seen any emails come across. It may be one of our vendors. I'm sorry about that. Have you checked out the videos on our website?

Do you have stock downpipes?

Very nice exhaust. It reminds of mine custom exhaust. The mufflers look similar from behind and underneath the car:

It should sound and act just like the videos on our site. I have a dyno sheet showing the increase in performance with adding an exhaust and stock dowpipes.

http://www.extremeturbosystems.com/E...p-Dyno-Sheets/

Procede V5 w/ 12-17 Maps, ETS Dual Cone Intakes, ETS Charge Pipe w/ TiAL Blow Off Valve, ETS 5.0 Intercooler Kit, ETS Dual 2.5 Exhaust System

Check out site for full details on the dyno.

Thanks!

hey guys i know this is an old thread but i would like to know if anyone can compare the sound and drone to an ae dual exhaust. i have ae right now with catless dps and it drones slightly between 1700-2100 rpms but the overall sound is not that loud.

so with this in mind is the ets louder? does it drone in the same range or is the drone in fact up in the 4k range which would be fantastic.

i drive a lot of long distance and dont like the drone to be anywhere under 3k...i do love the sound of the exhaust though

I will install this catback on my car this Thursday if ETS ship this out today.
I have AR catless and resonated downpipe. Because it has built in resonator, my experience on drone may differ from others with simple catless dp.
