If this thing drives like a BMW they will sell a ton of them. The interior is much better done than the GLS IMO but maybe not as clean looking as the RR.

Do you agree?
Your logic is so flawed. This is exactly why the 3-series didn't get some of the features and options of the 5-series and 7-series and everyone always complained. Now BMW said to make the best 3-series ever and spared nothing and now people still cry just with different tears.

Oh so that is a blue interior with blue headliner in the end, thought the spyshots were distorting the color.

Love it! I think BMW have done a great job in pushing the envelope. It looks like nothing else on the road which is more than you can say for Mercs SUV range (G wagon being an exception...)

Whilst I agree on the class differentiation, I think it has too do with MB and Audi stepping up their game! The new A class has better tech than the S class currently...

I recently sold my 2016 X5M for a loaded 2019 Range Rover V8. Its a fine car, but there's a laundry list of things that I miss from the BMW (not the least of which is the tech). If the X7 matches in refinement, it's going to be really tempting.

Can anyone explain to me X7 has 5.1 inch longer wheelbase but only 0.2 inch more at 2nd row seats?
Thought this supposed to be the 7 series SUV which means should be so spacious with when 3rd row is folded.

Other than that, I think X7 is great looking giant machine.

This is a terribly ignorant thing to say. It’s called design cohesion, and it’s damned obvious the interior fit and finish is above the G20. If you want a surprise every time you get into a different vehicle by the same manufacturer, choose another brand - you can be one of the people on the road that don’t know their headlights are off at night. Just what we need.

There is something to be said about getting behind the wheel of any model of a single brand and knowing the ins and outs; it makes it more comfortable and relaxing to drive.

Toodles. 💅🏻
Exactly this is literally nothing new. BMW interiors have all had similar designs in different vehicles for ages. The e46 e39 and e38 are a prime example of this. All 3 interiors may look similar but they all hold different and more features as you move up the latter. Same thing with audi's new interior design, the A6, A8 and Q8 have similar/almost the same design with different features/amenities and the same can mostly be said for mercedes.

gls500 or 550, depending on where you live, with Active Curve is a very dynamic drive. that being said, 90% of GLSs are not optioned as such, so most do drive soft, but nowhere near as much as as the big range. the range wallows and dips and flops around like you'd expect it to.

Other than the 3rd row, not sure why anyone would buy this over a RR. At least from pictures doesn't compare in styling and luxury.

When you see the official pictures, you go:
When you see it in RL, most of you go:

As for me, i think they nailed it, it does look nice, it looks premium, and it breaks new ground for BMW, i think it will sell very well!

Front row legroom is a joke also, not even 40 inches.
