ok so i managed to verbally agree on a price. but havne't mentioned the $1000 credit. I'll be going in tomorrow to sign the papers. They have nothing to lose from giving me the $1000 credit right? It's just an extra incentive to please the buyer even more?
Sooo happy! |

Ahhhhhh, the pain to have it early. This is clearly my own fault.

Could be worse, remember when Mercedes first started selling the G here in 2002 or 2003? Guys were paying that outfit in Phoenix over $250K to import the truck, federalize it etc. Literally next day you could get one direct from MB for well under $100K.

I'm on the West Coast so I am locked in for 90 days (until beginning of June). I'm taking delivery end of May. I was just wondering if I would have to pull credit again in order to "qualify for" May incentives.

OK so I need to know if my CA is full of shit. So. I placed my order for my m235i April 3rd. My build week is 21 So may 19-25th. That means delivery sometime in July. I just got off the phone with him and he told my I can not apply the 1000 incentive to my order. Is this true. He says I have to use what ever incentives are around in July. Bs or not?

Get the general manager involved and tell them you and the sales person agreed on a price and they should honor that price and the new incentives |

I think we should ask the dealer Why you're not eligable and ask what the requirements are. Then tell them you will double check with BMWNA to confirm.....this way if they BS you, they'll think twice

I told my salesperson about the $1000 option credit AFTER I had agreed on a price over the phone and it turns out they had already factored it into my discount. Was really looking forward to the dicsount and the extra $1000. Just going to most likely wait for a 2015 build now.

I had exactly the same issue with my dealer before they fixed it... The problem is option 258 the run flat tires... The standard performance tires are not available in run flats anymore (I think they were at launch), hence the error. Remove that option and it should go through. I got an updated build sheet yesterday with NO tire options listed (hence getting the standard performance tires). This error seems to make some people (and some others at the dealership) think you have to put A/S on the car...

Yeah so my dealer got back to me today and said he checked with BMW NA and they said there is, in fact, a glitch in the system. The area rep will be fixing it and I should have an updated and corrected build sheet in a few days. I placed my order on April 1st.... Have been bugging my dealer for the past month. Hopefully BMW finally fixes the system so no one else has to deal with this hassle ever again. So if anyone has an issues with this in the future, get your dealer to contact corporate, and it should (fingers crossed) get fixed, at least until the glitch is removed. |
