weird, I did update. I fully closed the app and restarted and now it shows up. Thanks.

Yeah, the archive of previous photos is there now, under "Details" on the 3D view. As noted, though, it's only photos from the new app, not ones taken with the old app.

Yeah, same thing happened to me. Didn't see the horn, so I closed the app, hard rebooted my phone to be safe, and new version appeared.

Android got the update this morning.
Anyone have any advice? I still can't get this to work and never did. Old app is working fine but new one has never connected. Using iPhone 11 Pro

I had something similar happen to me on the old app a few months ago. Got in touch with connected drive support. After some back and forth emails and a few phone calls over a 6 week period, they finally figured out it was something on their end. Apparently my account got corrupted when they upgraded their back end.

They had to delete my account and re-create it and sent me a temporary pw to use to sign in.

I was able to sign in to the old app after they did that. But I still can't get send address to car to work. They can't figure that out and told me to take the car to the dealer for software upgrade or idrive system replacement.

I have been playing with the new app and the old app on iOS and Android devices and with two different BMW models (M2 Comp and X7 M50i). To the annoyance of my dogs, I have been sending horn beeps to both vehicles randomly as well as 3D views and remote start on to the X7. So far every request has been received and executed from the new app over the last 2 weeks. I am optimistic and rather pleased. Many of you remember in 2019/2020, the older app network was constantly down at random times. It was a crap shoot every time you needed to execute a send command.

Good to hear things are working well with the new app. I can report a similar positive user experience as well with the new app. Although, the past network issues that you are speaking of, which I also have encountered in the past, should be independent of the app…

An updated app is available since the other day as well as today. Did you try downloading a new version?

I could not get it to work for android since it was made available in March.... TODAY, I finally got it. All you have to do is go to phone settings, then apps and change your default internet browser from Google Chrome.... I was very surprised that I got it to work. Once you sign on, and all is set up. you can then change your browser back.... Apparently the app is trying to load from Chrome.

I thought I was using Samsung internet in my Note 10. However when I went into the settings. It was defaulting to Chrome. So apparently certain apps will utilize your default browser to sign in, although you may not see the actual browser interface. so once I defaulted to SAMSUNG INTERNET. WALAH. it worked. That is why no Apple users are having issues. Their default browser is safari.
