Must be nice! No such updates for Android users.

Maybe the Opp could update the title of this thread to add (iPhone only).

weird, I did update. I fully closed the app and restarted and now it shows up. Thanks.

Yeah, the archive of previous photos is there now, under "Details" on the 3D view. As noted, though, it's only photos from the new app, not ones taken with the old app.

Yeah, same thing happened to me. Didn't see the horn, so I closed the app, hard rebooted my phone to be safe, and new version appeared.

^^^^I can confirm this as well. Now my Android and ios devices have all the features like "horn" and "gallery pic history". This now solidifies the new app as functional for my needs as the previous.

I am still keeping the old app on my devices to see how long they still work. As of now I have two working BMW apps that function with the same features.

Android got the update this morning.

Anyone have any advice? I still can't get this to work and never did. Old app is working fine but new one has never connected. Using iPhone 11 Pro

Try uninstalling the app, rebooting your phone, then install the app again and see if it works.

I had something similar happen to me on the old app a few months ago. Got in touch with connected drive support. After some back and forth emails and a few phone calls over a 6 week period, they finally figured out it was something on their end. Apparently my account got corrupted when they upgraded their back end.

They had to delete my account and re-create it and sent me a temporary pw to use to sign in.

I was able to sign in to the old app after they did that. But I still can't get send address to car to work. They can't figure that out and told me to take the car to the dealer for software upgrade or idrive system replacement.

I would check with the dealer. They may have come across this with someone else and may have a fix.

Good to hear things are working well with the new app. I can report a similar positive user experience as well with the new app. Although, the past network issues that you are speaking of, which I also have encountered in the past, should be independent of the app…

An updated app is available since the other day as well as today. Did you try downloading a new version?

I did not notice anything different with today's update.

I could not get it to work for android since it was made available in March.... TODAY, I finally got it. All you have to do is go to phone settings, then apps and change your default internet browser from Google Chrome.... I was very surprised that I got it to work. Once you sign on, and all is set up. you can then change your browser back.... Apparently the app is trying to load from Chrome.

What was your browser set to before setting it to Chrome?

I thought I was using Samsung internet in my Note 10. However when I went into the settings. It was defaulting to Chrome. So apparently certain apps will utilize your default browser to sign in, although you may not see the actual browser interface. so once I defaulted to SAMSUNG INTERNET. WALAH. it worked. That is why no Apple users are having issues. Their default browser is safari.
