I think this was deleted for all models after My2020. The only way to know for sure is if you have an option to copy files to the internal hard drive. Have you tried that?

My 2021 40i has electric sunshades. Has been really good, especially with young kids, that makes it easy to manage the sunshades from the front seat.

Well, I just placed an order for the last MY2022 X5 allocation. It will be replacing my 2nd car, not the X7. Still ran into decontent issues. So far, it's trailer hitch, no upgraded audio system options, and no luxury seating package, to include ventilated or massage seats.

Anyone who reads your posts here would know that you're not about to replace that X7. I just took delivery of one last month, so I know what it's like to want to keep that in the stable! |

Also...did you include the "Driver Assistance Pro" package in MY2022 order? I'm wondering because according to the ordering guide for the 2023 that package will be available in December.. |

I got 5% before incentives. And because this is not my primary X7, I didn't order the DAPP. You're right, the DA Pro isn't available on the MY2022 X5, and it's not certain yet whether it'll still be December production on that or not.

Great discount! I called Genius to inquire about the DAPP availability. He did confirm that so far the estimated date is December. However, he added that there is a possibility it will be available sooner. This will be my first BMW. I haven't decided yet...I'm between the X7 and the X5 45e. I'm a retiree...so I don't drive that much. This will be the last car I will own...so I want to get the best that will give me peace of mind.

According to the 2023 ordering guides, it looks like DAPP is available now for the X7. However, it will only be available in December for the X5. I will definitely get the DAPP...

Every company has operating margin targets and BMW is no exception. Aluminum prices reached a 13-year high …

I guess I am glad that I hate the new dashboard they are putting on the 2023. Sorry to say the list for leaving BMW keeps growing.
I understand chip shortage or whatever the hell is going on in the world. But why is the price not deducted for the missing parts? My touch knob controller is no longer a touch screen. One of the options I actually use. I get it, no parts. But shouldn't the cost of that option be removed from the price? Even just a few bucks to show some BS good faith. If you hired me to paint your house and I ran out of paint for the last room, would you still be required to pay full price?

Well congrats on another great choice. It will complement your flagship X7 and not feel so extreme of a step down in the model line up. |

De-content demon..
Just picked up my X7 M50 via PCD yesterday. I got everything I ordered......The damn Climate Control screen is monochrome, not color........I have minor OCD......this triggers it a bit. The rest of the car is GTG..... Having the opportunity to drive an identical car to mine on the track was awesome......

Just picked up my '22 M50 today via PCD. May 25 build, fully loaded including full Ivory White / Night Blue Merino leather.
Good things: - Sunshade is Alcantara - 3rd row cargo cover is blue Alcantara It has most of the stuff in it; the *only* things missing are: - Volume knob is not glass, it's plastic - 3rd row trim is gloss black, not wood - iDrive controller is non-touch - Rear doors don't have puddle lights - Climate control screen is the more basic monochrome display And I wasn't able to get these options: Night Vision, Ambient Air, B&W Audio And that's all. The volume knob glass is an easy ~$20 DIY fix, but it seems like all of the other issues are going to be very expensive to fix. I'm going to be doing something about the climate control screen... For the other ones, yeah it gets expensive lol. Ambient air can be done for around $800-$1000, Night Vision probably around $2000. B&W is the big one, depending on how authentic you wanted to go with it. 100% factory accurate, you’re probably looking at $5k+ |

For audio I'm probably going to get the bavsound speaker upgrade, $1k for the speakers and $600 for the subwoofers (not sure if I want to do the subs). I doubt it'll be quite as good as the stock B&W system, but hopefully it's not too far off (and the price is definitely much better ... the B&W option pricing seems like a bit of a scam). |
