Lol actually I know at least 4 people forgot to put new post codes in Tom tom / sat Nav.

Then drove out of Heathrow T5 and went wrong direction lol.

That and finding your new house can be fun at times lol.

I've done that leaving work - driven on autopilot and realised I was going the wrong way. Embarrassing when you have a passenger who realises what you did, so no backtracking (er I was looking for a shortcut to avoid the traffic).

I called BMW finance who asked for a photocopy of the V5C, said I didn't have a copier (and couldn't be bothered finding one) so can I pop it into a dealer. Was told to expect a call in a few days.

2 weeks later I had a follow up call asking about my experience, told them what happened and they got my dealer to ring me who seemed completely baffled why I was telling them, seemed fairly disinterested and told me "not to worry". And if I was to breakdown just quote the old number plate.

Car is on HP and is technically owned by BMW, so why they don't care is beyond me. Maybe in BMWs system is shows that I own it...maybe I should stop the payments.

They don't care as they can get all the info from the DVLA if they need it.
