Hi all,
We are interested in an X7 but prefer not to spend more than 1k a month for my wife's car on a 36/15 with say 3k at signing (NY tax 8 percent). Any hunch as to if this is even possible on a 40 Msport MSRP 80k? I did a quick calculation using some X5 MFs and residuals assuming 5k off (don't even know if 6 percent off is even possible) and I am getting 1150ish a month. I highly doubt we will see better MFs and residuals than the 2019 x5 (.00182 I think and 56 percent for 15k). 2019 x5 not cheap to leave either with these numbers. Lastly, laser lights are not available on the 40? Any idea why? |

They are available in other countries on the 40i. A rep from bmw in nj told me a few reasons why not on the 40i: 1. They are not full power as they are in Europe. Not much advantage over LED for us market. 2. Parts availability. If offered they'd likely not have enough parts to keep up with demand. This seems fixable longer term. |

Doesnt make a lot of sense since they are available on the X5 40i, how do they justify that? |

I work for a local dealership in Lower NY and we have some reservations available still. Can't believe how many we got in the initial release in an email blast.

I truly hate all the misinformation being tossed around these forums.
