For cleaners & wax, I prefer Zaino products.
Quick detailing products from Meguairs and Mother's are also top notch and widely available from retailers. Leather care - unquestionably Leatherique. Worth the cost and the wait. |

Instead of a mit or a sponge for washing, consider a brush. Easier to rinse off the dirt and containments that can scratch. I use this one:

I think you are missing a polish, i usually skip the wax because they don't last long. I just use a sealant like the FK1000P. For leather check out Leatherique, do some google on it. And you prob want at least 5 more plush type MF towels.

Some of the hardest rims to keep clean. I couldn't live without the following 2 products:
Daytona Speed Master Wheel Brush: Armour All Wheel Protectant: [u2b]0DEJ3Tzd73c&feature[/u2b]

I have tried many products over the past 20 years, and I can't think of anything that has come along and really changed my perception as much. I despise cleaning the rims on cars, but I do so properly and thoroughly, and Armour All wheel protectant really works as advertised. The other products I really like are:
1. Waffle Weave Drying Towels 2. Rain-X 3. Plexus Plastic cleaner and protectant 4. Shop Vac 5. Master Blaster 8HP version (granted this is $300)

I use this one.. expensive but makes washing car and keeping it clean super easy. Rinse and walk away.. since you dont need to touch the car to dry.. you avoid any swirls too. With a full detail every 6 months, and weekly car wash (takes me only 15mins now to wash a car now with this and a pressure washer). In middle of the week, i can just spray the car down with CR + Pressure washer for 3mins then walk away and keep car clean all the time. |

Anytime bro. Since you are near Irvine, if you wanna learn more about detailing. Meguiars offers beginner and advance workshops at their HQ, for free.
Also I forgot to mention how I was able to go 5 months without washing my car a couple summers ago. 1. California duster 2. Last Touch (aka quick detailer spray) 3. Microfiber towels. The detailer spray pulls dirt off the car, it's also know as waterless car wash. This is the product I probably use the most. The two are the same, the gallon version is more cost effective and can be used on everything exterior except glass.
