40i, Mineral White, Full Merino Leather, headliner in upholstery color, Wood with Alu-inserts, Extended Shadowline, Black 22" wheels, M-brakes. Interior would also have the metal B&W speaker-covers and glass controls but configurator is not updated yet.

Both gorgeous, guys. Does it show what color carpet the ivory has? My Individual ivory/navy thankfully has navy mats. The seat backs and seat belts are ivory.

Based on this:

https://www.bmw.de/de/ssl/configurat.../UPHOLSTERY_1/

I'd say it comes with black mats with a white edge.

Perfect. I wish the seat belts and seat backs were the complementary dark color too. The white seat surfaces haven’t been a problem, even with my kids, but the belts have fallen prey to sticky goldfish fingers, and the seat backs are constant targets for short legs and dangling feet. I’ve used Clorox wipes for the belts, and my salesperson told me to use a Magic Eraser for the seat backs, which has so far proven as a good remedy.

Maybe we are lucky and will be getting this option at one point which is already available in Germany on the X7 - M Safety-Belts:

Beautiful. I've bought white cars for years and always loved them. Our X7 is Arctic Grey and is the first non-white car we purchased in 10 years. I may go this direction as well in the future.

If BMW does "fix" some things we believe are wrong with the USA configurator, and allow me to get a 40i with B&W and Executive Package, this is what I'll be ordering:

MY2020 X7 40i
M-sport
Alpine White exterior
Black Full Merino interior
Individual Fine-wood Trim Fineline Cross Black with Aluminium Inserts (or Ash Grain Black Matte with Bronze Effect)
Extended Shadowline Trim
Every available option except Rear Seat Entertainment

.

Beautiful. Very close to what I would order. And I hope you're right about the configurator because I would like to include the B&W sound system as well.

I picked one off the lot but if I were to order one and have my way it would be and X7 M50i in Ametrin Met with Tartufo full merino leather and the 758I style wheels.

Hmm, I might have to rethink my White Exterior. This looks quite well, too...

Your Mineral White with White interior build above looks pretty awesome too.

Reason why I'm thinking about the black now is that our second vehicle will probably be the new Lincoln Aviator and my mother wants that one in white so instead of having both vehicles in the same color, I might be going black on the BMW. Another advantage of the black is that it's going to make the all-white (ivory) interior pop out....

Black with the Ivory interior would look great together.

Talking Laser lights for 40i?

So has it been confirmed that laser lights will not be offered on the 40i for MY20?
I know they don’t work in the US, but they sure look pretty

I wouldn't say for sure for the entire MY20 but for now, they aren't.

Ok thanks for the info. I don’t need to pull the trigger right now but was hoping there was some certainty on this moving forward. I guess we’ll see what the next few months bring.

According to the order guide, they're only available on the 2020 M50i. May be a shortage issue and they decided to limit them to the more expensive M model (for now). That said, I have them and the LED's should look just as good and work just as well. USA models are dumbed down to half their actual range so it's kind of pointless to pay extra for them IMO.
