760Fan, I was about to order virtually the exact same configuration toward the end of December by my guy say I wouldn't get it until late March/April so I'm going to wait until I can order a 2021. Regardless, what is your MSRP and what did you end of getting it for?

MSRP is $123,525.

I got 10% off plus incentives (at the time I ordered, there was a $1,000 lease-incentive on the M50i so that's on my payment sheet. That could change though for February.)

I'm also getting another $500 off through PenFed's program (USAA has a similar one) and last but not least, the $1,000 check from BMW CCA after delivery.

At base MF and residual for the 36 month lease with 7.5k miles and the incentives I mentioned, my down-payment of $3,000 should get me to a monthly payment of about $1,460. That number, of course, does not include the $1,000 from BMW CCA which is completely separate of this deal.

The only thing I have to negotiate/double-check now is that I'm getting base MF. Other than that, the final numbers will depend on what BMW FS is going to offer next month.

I would be very happy with a $1,460-payment on such a vehicle.

My $88K 2017 Audi Q7 is $1,345/month. Granted, I leased that one with 10K miles/year BUT the $3K down were the same and on the BMW, there is still the sweet BMW CCA check coming which I obviously did not get on the Audi.

These BMW-leases are almost unbeatable...

Hahaha...well, seems like it.

Many current Q7 owners are thinking of (and actually making) the move from Audi to the X7 and it certainly makes a lot of sense to me. Mine is a MY17 and back then, there was simply no other vehicle like it and that's why I agreed to pay the high lease. Now, the X7 is simply better and if you don't want or don't need the V8, you can actually get an X7 with an MSRP that's $20K higher than the one on the Q7 AND still lower your lease-payment. That's a no-brainer to me.

Mine completed production last week... so, in total, it was a little less than a month from the time I placed the order to the time production was finished. However, I'm doing performance center delivery (just a couple more days!) so that timeframe doesn't include shipping time in my case.

One thing I thought was sort of funny... this past weekend, I opened the BMW Connected app to check mileage on my 540i (because I'd read that if you're significantly under on lease miles, you get a partial refund) and at first I noticed that the app was indicating the fuel was only at 13%... which seemed wrong, since I'd just refueled the day before. Turns out the new X7 is already showing up in my BMW Connected app, and I was looking at that vehicle. For kicks, I tried the Remote 3D View function, and while it said it was currently disabled, there was a 3D view already saved in it.

What's weird is that the view clearly shows the BMW headquarters building in Munich outside the window of whatever building is shown in the immediate surroundings (I'm sure someone will recognize it, but I have no idea). I'm assuming the software simply has a default, pre-rendered 3D view it uses when the Remote 3D View feature hasn't been activated yet. But I thought it was funny:

As you know, the Q7 has a hitch and you can kick to open the trunk.

Yeah, I was actually fully aware of that when I placed the order. To be honest, I never use this feature on the Audi.

When ordering SUVs, I'm always getting the hitch although - get this - I never used one so far. I just like the looks of it and believe that any SUV should have one.

My mother's Explorer will a hitch AND the foot kick standard so I'm not sure why BMW couldn't offer both.
